History
According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 6 yards in it , 21 men and 25 women lived. [2]
According to the 1897 census , 71 people lived in the village (30 men and 41 women). [3]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Ascension parish of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 14 peasant households and 106 inhabitants. There was a forge in the village. The main occupations of the villagers, in addition to agriculture, were painting and carpentry, agricultural work. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Unorozhsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
