The shares of Stankoprom JSC are distributed among the shareholders as follows: OJSC OPK OBORONPROM - 34.81% [1] , State Corporation Rostec - 65.19%.

History
Stankoprom Holding was established in 2013 on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Rostec State Corporation as a system integrator of the Russian machine-tool industry [2] . "Stankoprom" has the status of the parent organization of the State Corporation "Rostec" in the field of machine tools and tool production.
For 2014, the holding’s consolidated assets were estimated at 15 billion rubles. The planned investments are about 30 billion rubles, of which 5.5 billion rubles are own financial resources, and 11 billion rubles are private investments and bank loans in the ratio of 50% to 50%. [3]
The strategic objective of the Stankoprom holding is to ensure the long-term technological independence and competitiveness of Russian engineering through the creation of competitive domestic engineering facilities. The holding aims at 2020 to achieve a share of domestic metal-cutting machine tools at 70% (under a pessimistic scenario, their share will be 13%), while the holding may become the only supplier of machine tools for defense enterprises. Activities
The production activities of the holding are represented by four areas: scientific research, machine tool manufacturing, tool manufacturing, commerce and engineering.
JSC "Stankoprom" in the framework of the State Corporation "Rostec" has the status of a center for technological audit of technological equipment purchased by the Corporation's organizations, as well as providing centralized deliveries of machine tool products to the enterprises of the Corporation [4] .
