Biography

He graduated from the Polotsk Cadet Corps and the Mikhailovsky Artillery School . He served in the 4th Reserve Artillery Brigade.

In 1884 he was promoted to lieutenant and in 1888 to the rank of lieutenant . In 1893 he served as senior adjutant at the headquarters of the 18th Army Corps .

In 1894 he received the rank of staff captain . He served as a junior officer in the management of the Konstantinovsky artillery school .

In 1900 he was elevated to the rank of captain .

In 1902 he graduated from the Officer Artillery School . He commanded the 7th battery of the 23rd artillery brigade .

In 1907 he was elevated to the rank of lieutenant colonel . At the same time, he was the secretary of the editorial board of the newspaper " Russian invalid ".

He took part in the battles of the First World War . He commanded the 2nd Finland Rifle Artillery Brigade and later the 2nd Finland Rifle Division.

In April 1915 he was elevated to the rank of Major General . He commanded the 32nd artillery brigade and the 3rd Finland rifle artillery brigade . In 1917 he was an artillery inspector of the 20th Army Corps . At the same time, he led this corps after the death of his commander.

In early 1918, after the collapse of the front, he arrived in Kiev .

In 1919 he joined the Anton Denikin Volunteer Army . He was an inspector of the artillery department of the detachment of General Nikolai Bredov . As part of Nikolai Bredov’s detachment, he first retreated to Tiraspol and from there to Poland (see Bredovskiy campaign ).

During the Second World War he lived in Poland. In 1945 he went to Germany, where he died on August 26.
