Biography
Born in 1962 in the village of Amga , Amginsky District. In 1980 he graduated from Amga secondary school. V. G. Korolenko . In 1985 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of the Yakutsk State University . He passed the specialization in journalism , opened on the basis of IFF in 1982. He worked in the editorial offices of the newspapers Kommunizm tutuutugar (Amginsky District), Molodyozh Yakutiya, the combined editorial staff of the Sakha Sire newspapers - Tips of Yakutia, the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Press Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Department of Peoples Affairs and Federal Relations , Office of the press service of the President and the Government of the RS (I), was an adviser to the Vice-President of the RS (I). Journalist Career
After graduation, he worked in the Amginsky district newspaper "Communism tutuutugar." In 1989 he was hired by the correspondent of the republican newspaper "Youth of Yakutia". Literary creativity
Oleg Amgin entered the literature with the publication of the parable-story “The Tree of Tygyn” in the journal Polar Star (magazine, Yakutsk) (Yakutsk) in 2009 [3] . Later this story was included in a small book published by the National Book Publishing House “Bichik” under the same name. Three small stories from this series about the legendary Yakut king Tygyn were included in the selection “From the Modern Yakut Literature” in the magazine Zvezda (St. Petersburg) in number 11 for 2012 [4] O. Sidorov (Amgin) is one of those rare bilingual authors who write their journalistic and literary works in Russian and Yakut languages.

State, public awards
