Location
The park is located in the southwestern part of Minsk , in the Moskovsky district , between the southwestern microdistricts (Minsk microdistrict) , Malinovka and Brilevichi .
The park is limited by the avenues of Dzerzhinsky , Lyubimov , streets of Cosmonauts, Beletsky, Kurgan.
The opening and assignment ceremony of the M. Ya. Pavlov Park with the participation of the leadership of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Minsk City Council of Deputies took place on the day of the 60th anniversary of Mikhail Yakovlevich Pavlov - September 1, 2012.
Prior to being named after Pavlov, the park was popularly called Mukhlya.
River
The park is the source of the river Loshitsa .
A section of the Loshitsa River, located on the territory of the Park, is popularly called Mukhlya.

Changing the shape of the park
In 2013-2014, in connection with the reconstruction of Dzerzhinsky Avenue and the construction of the Moscow line of the Minsk Metro from the Petrovshchina station to the Malinovka station, the shape of the road changed several times in the initial part of Kosmonavtov Street (near Dzerzhinsky Avenue ). In this regard, the boundaries of the park changed twice.
