History
City Administration Building
The city is named after Henry Carns , the hero of the Texas Revolution of 1835-1836 [3] .
In 1893, received the status of the central district city (previously, the now abandoned city of Helena ) [3] .
According to the 2000 American Census, 3,457 people lived in the village [3] .
