He made his debut as the main referee of the match of the top division of the championship of Serbia on August 18, 2007. In 2009, he made his debut in the international arena, suing a series of matches of the final stage of the European Youth Championship in Germany, and in 2009 for the first time sued the qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup between the teams of Finland and Wales (2: 1). In 2011, sued three games at the European Youth Championship in Denmark . In 2013, he tried two matches of the World Youth Championship in Turkey .

On January 15, 2014, together with two assistants Dalibor Djurdzhevich and Milovan Ristic, he was selected as one of the judges of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil .
On May 7, 2018, he was appointed chief arbiter for the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool [2] .
In 2018, he became one of the arbitrators for serving the matches of the final stage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia [3] .
