Story
- Bad night (03:37)
When Amy Pond ( Gillan, Karen ) answers the phone at TARDIS in the middle of the night, the Prince of Wales rings. The doctor ( Matt Smith ) enters the TARDIS with a goldfish and intercepts the phone. Amy discovers that the Doctor lives an active life while his companions sleep. It turns out that fish is the Queen of Great Britain, the fate of the Commonwealth is at stake. Amy wants to talk seriously with the Doctor, but the Doctor calls her husband Rory Williams ( Arthur Darville ) for “serious conversations.”
- Good night (04:51)
The doctor returns after another night with the River Song . Amy expects him on the steps and convinces him of additional adventures. She worries that due to past events (the Big Bang series), she remembers two different lives with and without parents. The doctor encourages her and discusses the characteristics of memory and the past. He offers to change events and return to the saddest event in Amy's life, and it turns out that she already remembers him changed.
- The first night (02:15)
River Song spends his first night in prison. The Doctor flies to her and invites her to a night adventure. He explains the rules of the river to their meetings. While the River is changing clothes, another River enters the TARDIS.
- Last night (03:34)
The second River (for which 5 years in prison has already passed) is hiding from the battle, she begins to be jealous of the "unknown" woman, the traces of which she discovers (that is, to herself), and leaves to look for her. Both River take turns peeking into the control room, trying to find each other. At this moment, the third River enters the TARDIS door. While at the request of the Doctor she leaves for a short while, he takes the second River to jail. Another Doctor comes in, and it turns out that he has one of the last meetings with River (it is clear from the place mentioned in the episode Silence in the library ). The second Doctor leaves with the third River for the evening.
- On my feet all night (01:56)
The episode precedes the events of the episode Time is Running Out and shows the night of Craig Owens ( Corden, James ) before the Doctor came to him. Craig doubts that he will cope with the child alone and will be a good father.
Reviews
SFX Ian Barryman called Night and Doctor the "most exciting bonus." He spoke of “Bad Night” as “inconsistent but fun” and acknowledged “Good Night” as his favorite mini-episode. In his opinion, after watching the episode “ Time is Running Out ”, watching “All Night On Your Feet” is pointless [2] . Io9's Charlie Anders believes the mini-episodes embodied “everything we love in the dialogue and the style of the story of Stephen Moffat.” Anders also noted that “Good Night” added depth and development to Amy's character [1] .
