Ashug Adalat ( azerb. Aşıq Ədalət ), full name Adalat Magomedali oglu Nasib azerb. Nəsibov Ədalət Məhəmmədəli oğlu ( January 27, 1939 , Gazakh Azerbaijan SSR - September 14, 2017, Baku [1] ) - Azerbaijani ashug , one of the prominent representatives of the Gazakh ashug school. Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, presidential scholarship holder.

Biography
Ashug Adalat was born in 1939 in the Azerbaijani city of Gazakh, in the family of a shoemaker. The first teacher of ashug was his father, whom he began to teach him how to play the saz when he was only 5 years old. Adalyat studied oral folk literature with a resident of the Gazakh region - Magomedali kishi. He graduated from the 1st city secondary school of the city of Gazakh [2] .
Creativity
Unable to get higher education due to poverty, ashug Adalat earned his living by means of saz. From the age of 10 he began to travel with prominent ashugs to all regions of Azerbaijan, as well as Borchaly (Azerbaijani populated regions of Georgia) and western Azerbaijan ( Gokcha ). Since 15 years independently acts as ashug [2] . His teacher was Ashug Ali.
Ashug Adalat was first invited to Baku in 1950 by academician Aslan Aslanov, at whose house he lived for one month. Thanks to Aslanov, the young ashug made his debut on Azerbaijani radio and television and became acquainted with such luminaries as Samed Vurgun , Ismail Shikhli, Huseyn Arif, Ismail Saryvelli and others. In 2007, Ashug Adalat was a member of the jury of the Ozan ashug contest, broadcast on the Azerbaijani television channel Lider TV [4] /

Tribute to memory
On December 7, 2010, the Union of Ashugs of Azerbaijan together with the Ministry of Cult and Tourism of Azerbaijan held a concert in Baku in memory of ashug Adalat Nasibov [2] .
In 1968, the All-Union Melodia Records Company released two discs with Azerbaijani folk melodies “Bash Mukhemmes” and “Karemi” performed on Ashug Adalat Nasibov’s saz [5] .
In 2013, Ashug Adalyat starred in the clip of the young Azerbaijani ashug Akshin Tarieloglu, for the song "Yanıg Kərəmi", which was filmed in the new genre of classical rock [6] [7] .
Family
Five children. The middle son, as well as one of the grandchildren, are also ashugs [3] .
