Educated at St. Petersburg University . His articles were distinguished by accuracy, wit and knowledge of the matter. They were placed in the Musical and Theater Bulletin ( 1858 ), Russian Antiquity ( 1888 , Memoirs of Serov ), Son of the Fatherland , etc. Zvantsov, a great admirer of Wagner , put a lot of work into careful translations of the libretto of the operas Tannhäuser " And " Lohengrin . " He wrote the libretto of the operas Ataman Ustia, Francesca da Rimini and others. La Danza guerriera was published from Zvantsov's musical works; not published music for Hamlet.
The son of K. I. Zvantsov is Konstantin Konstantinovich Kristup (1875—?), Translator, amateur composer [1] .
