History
It was founded in 1914 by the local merchant I. A. Efremov. Since the XVI century, Vesyegonsk was famous for its fairs and was one of the largest shopping centers of the Russian Empire . Local fruit wines were famous, the recipes of which were carefully stored and passed on from generation to generation.
At first, the winery was called "Cranberry" according to the main type of processed raw materials - cranberries, which were purchased from the local population.
In the 1930s, the plant began to produce not only fruit wines, cranberry juices, but also extracts, dried berries for the confectionery industry. The volume of products has been constantly increasing.
During the Great Patriotic War, the winery produced fruit juice for the front, and cranberry wine for submarine crews. [one]
The winery was a leader in the production of fruit wines in the Soviet Union , was widely known for its cranberry, lingonberry, blueberry and mountain ash, and even bird cherry wine. By 1980, the average annual output was approaching 20 million bottles, the products were exported, including to France .
Since 1990
Since 2006 , Vesyegonsk Winery has been producing its wines under the Creative Wine brand. In 2006-2009, a complete reconstruction was carried out at the winery, and the recognized French consultant-oenologist Frederic Vautier was invited. [2]
In 2009, the winery launched a wine tourism project. A visit to the plant was the highlight of the “All Rybinsk Sea” river cruise program from Moscow. Under the wine tourism program, more than 4,000 people have already visited the Vesyegonsk winery.

Sales of the plant for 9 months of 2010 amounted to 34.5 million rubles., Net loss - 51.6 million rubles.
The shareholders of the plant are IK Re-Porto LLC (69.9772%), Sergey Halimonov (10.003%) and Ivanna Savchuk (19.876%).
Products
Assortment for 2014 - about 17 items of semi-dry and semi-sweet wines, which are delivered to 31 regions of Russia. [3]
The pride of the plant is the exclusive Cranberry Flirtini Klukva wine made from natural berries. [2]
