"Alzheimer's Syndrome" ( Dutch : De zaak Alzheimer ) is a Belgian film director Eric Van Loy , shot in 2003. The film is about a hit man who suffers from Alzheimer's disease . The plot is based on a detective novel by the Belgian writer Jef Gerarts .

Story
The hired killer Angelo Ledda (Jan Dekler) leaves from Marseille to Belgium, where he must complete two tasks. As a first assignment, he kills a high-ranking official, Bob Van Kamp (Lucas Van den Einda), and buries his body in the garden. Antwerp Criminal Police Commissioner Eric Winke (Cun De Bowe) and future Commissioner Freddie Wersteif (Werner De Smedt) are tasked with investigating the disappearance of the officer, with the help of two other criminal police officers.
As a second assignment, Ledda must kill the twelve-year-old girl Bike (Loreen Van den Brook). However, he refuses to do this, after which his boss comes from France to kill the girl, and then Ledda. After a failed attempt at an attempt on his life, Ledda begins to pursue her clients.
When the police finally arrest Ledda, he refuses to talk to anyone other than Winke. He tells the commissioner about his crimes related to politics , corruption and child prostitution .
