Tmaxsoft

TmaxSoft is a South Korean international company specializing in corporate software . It was founded in 1997 by Professor Daeyeon Park, a former professor at KAIST (Korea Leading Science and Technology Institute). The company consists of three divisions: TmaxSoft, TmaxGlobal and TmaxData. Today TmaxData (formerly Tibero) operates as an independent company. There is an own R & D center that continues the development of the company's products.

The company started as a middleware provider, the first Tmax product is a transaction monitor. TmaxSoft is by far the largest supplier of corporate software systems in the Republic of Korea, as of 2013 [1] and is a member of JCP . Its middleware products include Tmax (Transaction Process Control Toolkit), JEUS (Java EE Application Server ), and WebtoB (Web Server). One of the flagships is Tibero's relational corporate DBMS, ProSync (replication tool), Infinidata (BigData solution), Sysmaster (application performance control), ProFrame (framework for banking) and OpenFrame (set of tools for rebasing obsolete mainframes).

In 2016, the company released its own Linux based operating system, which allows running Windows applications.

  • 2012 Application Server No. 1 on the Korean market for 10 years, Best Software Business Award
  • 2013 Established Tmax Singapore, Tmax Russia, Tmax UK
  • 2014 Founded Tmax Brazil
  • 2015 Offices opened in Australia, Turkey; Tibero 6 version was released which brought the company closer to its main competitor.
  • 2016 Demonstrated the release of its own operating system Tmax OS and office suite Tmax Office.
