Melikov, Sergey Alimovich

He was born on September 12, 1965 in the town of Orekhovo-Zuyevo near Moscow in the family of a military man ^{[1] [2]} . By nationality, Lezgin ^[2] .

In 1994, he graduated from the faculty of border and internal troops of the MV Frunze Military Academy ^[2] . After completing the training, he was transferred to the North Caucasian District of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Father - Alim Nur-Magomedovich Melikov (1932-2012), retired colonel, served as commander of the brigade of internal troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs ^[2] .

The elder brother is Mikhail Alimovich Melikov (born February 2, 1958), a major general of the reserve, graduated from the Leningrad Combined Arms Command School, served in various positions up to the battalion commander in the Airborne Troops. Later transferred to the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, commanded a regiment of Internal Troops in Yaroslavl.
