In April 2013, Daniela was the last chemotherapy after which she recovered and is happy for her new life.

Movie career

The beginning of Daniela’s career can be considered the show “ Gypsy ”. Thanks to her participation in this show, Daniela was able to break into television. At the age of 17, Daniela took part in the film " Pelican 's House ", this film became her debut in the film industry. Her starring role was the participation in the telenovela “ Passionate Secret ” in 1978, a remake of the film “ Jen Air ”. In those days, when Daniela acted in films, she also went to various shows and sang. At this time, producer Chucho Ferrer , seeing her potential, invited her to record an album. At the age of 20, Romo did not refuse such an offer and recorded the album Tambien Yo in 1985 at CBS Records . Unfortunately, the album failed because of the songs that Daniela performed in her 20s (mature ballads). The audience was not ready for such songs from Daniela. Seeing this, Daniela decides to return to television. Her first series, "I'm Tired of Living," was a hit in 1982. After this, Daniela leaves television for 6 years. In 1995, Daniela returned to television with the telenovela “If God takes my life”, which becomes a hit. In this telenovela, Daniela plays with Cesar Evora and Omar Fierro . After the telenovela, Daniela begins to broadcast “Today with Daniela” since 1996. Her program had low ratings and critics took her with hostility. After 2 seasons, the program was closed. Despite this, in 2001, she won the role of the villain in the telenovela "Source" for the first time. A year later, Daniela starred in the light comedy “Ways of Love”. In 2005, Daniela released the album “Es la Nostalgia”. This album includes acoustic ballads. These songs were produced by Adrian Posse. This year also brought her many praises for the role of the villain Dona Juan in the TV series "Dawn." In 2006, Romo produced the musical Cabaret in Mexico and in 2009 shone on stage in the production of Victor Victoria. In 2008, Daniela returned to television and played in the telenovela "Women Killers." Also in 2009, Daniela starred in the TV series Charm as Victoria Lombardo. In 2010-2011, Daniela plays the main villain in the series "Triumph of Love." After treatment for cancer in 2013, Daniela plays in the series "The Tempest".

Singing career

Before starting to sing on stage independently, Daniela begins her musical career singing along with Los Hermanos Zavala at a very young age. In 1983, Daniela travels to Spain and meets Danilo Vaona through her friend Miguel Bose. Danilo at that time was very famous and became a famous producer in Italy after Raffaella Carra . Under the new label “Hispavox”, Danilo is recording an album for Daniela entitled “Daniela Romo.” Her first single, Mentiras, made a splash in Spain and, while living in Spain, Daniela is invited to broadcast late in the evening. Daniela agrees. Her debut album was a resounding success with songs such as Mentiras, Celos (written by José Luis Perales ), Pobre Secretaria (written by Miguel Bose), La Ocasion Para Amarnos, and the ballad Heart. The song Heart became the title soundtrack in the series "One Heart". Seeing that her musical career is going uphill, Daniela begins to devote all her time for the next 4 years only to her. In 1984, Daniela released her 3rd album, Forbidden Love. This album includes the song “Yo No Te Pido La Luna”, which is becoming popular in other Latin American countries and Spain, despite the fact that the song was originally released in Italian under the title “Non voglio mica la luna”. Her last album, which was produced by Danila Vaono, will be an album called "Duena de mi Corazon". She has been working with Danila Vaono for 11 years. 1986 was a very good year for Daniel. This year, Daniela returns to the screens playing in the series "Secret Way". Her game in this series is called one of the best at that time. The main song for the series (the song that sounds when the series begins) was sung by Daniela. This song is called "De Mi Enamorate" and was written by Juan Gabriel. This song becomes a hit in Mexico and is in first place on the chart for 21 weeks. This song was also in first place for 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart in the United States . Her album Mujer de todos, Mujer de nadie was released that year while she was at the pinnacle of success. This album was produced by Felissati D.J. Flores. This album was a hit in Mexico in 1980. This couple will produce only one of Daniela’s albums, but they will produce her hit songs such as Coco Loco (he becomes the gay anthem) and ballads Adelante Corazon, Veneno Para Dos. In 1989, Daniela released the song Quiero Amanecer con Alguien, which was produced by Beba Silvetti. This song was written in a different direction. For Daniela, this song becomes the one that changes her musical career. This song, although close to the style of ballads, is simpler to read and looks more like Pop Music. Although it was a risky step, the risk was justified as this song becomes popular internationally. Daniela continues to record songs and in 1993 she signs a contract with Melody Fonovisa . With them, Daniela has released 3 albums over 4 years. In 2001, Daniela released the album Ave Fenix. It is being produced by Loris Cheroni. When writing this album, Daniela was inspired by singer Cher and her return to show business with the song Believe . Unfortunately, this album did not bring success and was ignored by the public since instead of promoting the album, Daniela took part in the series. In 1990, Daniela released the song "Todo todo todo", a dance number was created for this song. This song can often be heard on Philippine holidays.
