Tony says he works for the maritime police and investigates crimes related to the army and navy. He talks about a drug-related case that the team investigated several months ago, and says that Mossad’s agent was on their team. In the office, the girl who replaced Ziva puts a letter of resignation in front of Tony, saying that she can no longer work with them. At this time, Ziva comes to Gibbs, goes down to the basement and speaks with him. She admits that she felt betrayed by remaining in Israel, but later realized that Gibbs made the right choice. Now she wants to go back, and Gibbs replies that the final decision depends on Leon Vance. | ||||||

Tony asks Gibbs if he ever failed the test, and he informs them of a new case - the murder of a blogger who wrote about the maritime police - Matt Burns. | ||||||

Then Gibbs appears and says that a body has just been discovered in the forest. At this time, McGee buys coffee in an eatery, and a girl named Amanda speaks to him there. She helps him collect coffee and rolls, and then leaves him her phone number. | ||||||

Soon, agents arrive at the crime scene, and Tony, frozen on the road, is trying to buy thermal underwear from Ziva, to which she replies that it will not fit him. They establish the name of the murdered - Thomas Ellis, the son of a Marine, who later became a pastor. Ducky says there were no shoes on Thomas, and they dig a prayer rug under the snow. | ||||||

McGee finds news of Colonel Bella, who was released from prison, and asks Gibbs how to send him this news - to a computer, to a phone, or print it out and hand it in person. At this time, Tony curses on the phone with bank employees who blocked part of the accounts. He proves that he is Tony Dinozzo Jr., and Tony Dinozzo Sr. is his father. Tony wants to withdraw money and go on a cruise with his university fellows. Ziva asks why Tony will not call his father and deal with the situation, and at that moment Gibbs announces that they have a new business. | ||||||

Gibbs appears and says they have a deal. McGee asks for a couple of minutes to wait for the end of the ceremony, and they drive to the blown up car. | ||||||

| Damon Worth comes to life in a garbage dump and sees Hazerton lying nearby. Damon calls him, and when he does not answer, Damon turns his body and sees in horror that Heserton's throat is cut. McGee brings Gibbs home, notices that the refrigerator is empty and there is only fish food left. He leaves, Gibbs picks up a gun lying on the table, and Damon appears in the living room. He says he needs help - he no longer uses drugs, and tonight he was in the trash next to Hazerton’s body, which had his throat cut. He and Hazerton went out for a drink, and Damon doesn't remember what happened next. | ||||||

Ziva reads the Declaration of Independence, and McGee says that he connected everything in his house to one control panel. Gibbs appears and the team travels to the scene of the murder. Detective McCadden informs them that the bride of the victim witnessed the murder. | ||||||

| The ranger arrives by car in the forest, quarrels with his wife on the phone, then pulls out a burger from the bag, and is just about to eat it when he hears the shooting. He gets out of the car, hides behind it and sees a man coming out of the forest with a wound in his stomach and falling to the ground. At the office, Ziva and McGee watch Tony hang a wet sock on the lamp. He stepped into a puddle and came to work with a wet foot. Ducky enters the office, asks where Gibbs is, and puts some paper on his desk. Ziva tells McGee and Tony that Ducky wears a regular tie, not a bow tie. Following Gibbs, Tony throws white socks and they go to the forest where John Maine was discovered. | ||||||

| A troop of soldiers runs along the seashore, and one of them notices a corpse in the sand. The sergeant comes up, looks and sees that the deceased was a diver. In the office, Tony is looking for car keys and cannot find it. He even thinks he threw them with a pizza box, and the keys might be in the trash. Gibbs appears and says that the body of a dead diver was found on the beach, and then shows the keys that he found on the floor in the elevator. He throws them to the floor, and Tony with Ziva and McGee fall after him to grab the keys. | ||||||

| A man staggers out onto the road and faces the hood of a car in which teenagers ride. He falls on the hood, the girl thinks she knocked him down, but the guy sees stab wounds on the man’s back and screams at her to call 911. Tony comes to the office and sees McGee taking off the topping of the donut and blowing coffee. He begins to bully him and says that they were supposed to meet at a bar near the museum yesterday. Ziva asks if they have a date, and Tony replies that he needed McGee to meet a girl from the museum. McGee replies that the meeting should only be tomorrow, Tony calls and says that there will be no meeting. Ziva calls their argument a crisis of seven years, then Gibbs appears, and they go to the scene of the murder. | ||||||

He asks a question about the first amendment, Ziva answers, and Gibbs comes to the office. He tells them that a burned body was found on the shore in Annapolis, but Director Vance appears before they leave. Leon tells Gibbs that all media attention has now shifted to a graduation festival at the academy, and they should conduct the investigation as quietly as possible. | ||||||

| Gibbs comes to life in the courtyard of the Paloma Reynosa mansion. She sits in front of him and asks if Gibbs knows who she is. Meanwhile, in the office, Ziva tells the rest that she passed the exam and becomes a US citizen, and invites everyone to attend the ceremony. Vance appears and tells McGee to go with him, and Vance asks McGee about their trip to Mexico with Abby. He wants the information not to go further than this office, and especially not to catch Allison Hart, who is an employee of Colonel Bell's company. | ||||||
