Andrey Valeryevich Goryanov (born April 2, 1976 , Leningrad ) is a producer and editor of the BBC Russian Service, editor-in-chief of the online business publication Slon.ru (from August 2011 to November 2014), and a host of the Money analytical program on the Rain channel .

Biography
He studied at the St. Petersburg Medical Academy as a doctor (did not graduate).
Subsequently, he graduated from St. Petersburg State University (Faculty of Journalism, Economics) [1] .
In 2000-2004 worked in the banking business. Until 2003, he was the press secretary of the International Bank of St. Petersburg. From 2003 to 2005 he worked in the Investor Relations Department of KIT Finance Investment Bank (bore the name of Web-Invest Bank). From 2005 to 2007 He worked as editor of the newspaper Delovoy Peterburg (Bonnier Business Press). In particular, he was responsible for the personal income magazine “Income”, answered the financial pages of the newspaper [1] . He traded in the newspaper's securities portfolio until 2007.
Since 2007, he gathered from scratch the editorial office of the newspaper RBC daily St. Petersburg. The newspaper quickly occupied its niche in the St. Petersburg media market [1] .
In 2009, he moved to Moscow to head the magazine “Finance.”, In which he worked until 2011. The magazine was closed by the owners of Aktion Media for unprofitable reasons [1] .
Since 2011, he worked as the chief editor of the online business publication Slon.ru with a combined reach of 3.2 million visitors per month. In November 2014, he switched to the Russian BBC Service in Moscow, taking the position of general producer [2] .
He is one of the founders and experts of the St. Petersburg lecture hall “Context”
