Diocese of Livingston ( Latin: Dioecesis Livingstonensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in Livingston , Zambia . The diocese of Livingston is included in the metropolitan of Lusaka . The cathedral of the diocese of Livingston is the church of St. Theresa.

History
On May 25, 1936, Pope Pius XI issued the bull “Quo in Rhodesiae Septentrionalis” , which established the Victoria Falls Apostolic Prefecture , separating it from Broken Hill Apostolic Prefecture (today, Lusaka Archdiocese).
On March 10, 1950, Pope Pius XII issued the Bull Si qua enascens , which transformed the Victoria Falls Apostolic Prefecture into Livingston's Apostolic Vicariate .
On April 25, 1959, Pope John XXIII issued the bull “Cum christiana fides,” which transformed the Apostolic Vicariate of Livingston into a diocese.
On June 14, 1997, the Diocese of Livingston transferred part of its territory to establish the Diocese of Mongu .
