Volkovo is a village in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region of Russia . Included in the rural settlement Nikolskoe . Population - 18 [1] people. (2010). 4 garden associations, a cottage settlement and the boarding house Solnechnaya Polyana are attributed to the village [2] . Until 2006, Vlasovo was part of the Volkovsky rural district [3] .

Location
The village is located in the west of the district, 11 km north of the town of Kubinka . 0.5 km west of the village flows the river Moscow . The height of the center above sea level is 145 m [4] .
History
For the first time in historical documents, the village is found in 1702, as granted to Count Gavriil Ivanovich Golovkin . According to the economic notes of the end of the XVIII century. in the village there were 16 courtyards and 100 souls of serfs of both sexes. For 1852 there were 14 courtyards in the village, 75 souls of the male sex and 81 - of the female, in 1890 - 197 people. According to the All-Union Census, on December 17, 1926, there were 37 farms and 210 inhabitants, and according to the 1989 census , 18 farms and 98 inhabitants [5] .
