Karanemoura abrupta (lat.) Is a fossil species of stoneflies of the genus Karanemoura from the family Perlariopseidae . Kazakhstan ( Karatau , Chimkent Oblast , Karabastau Formation ), Jurassic deposits (about 160 Ma) [1] [2] .

Description
Small stoneflies, body length from 10 to 15 mm, front wing length from 12 to 17 mm, width from 3 to 4 mm. The species Karanemoura abrupta was first described in 1987 by the Russian entomologist Nina Dmitrievna Sinichenkova (arthropod laboratory, Paleontological Institute RAS , Moscow ) together with the fossil species Perlariopsis basalis and others. Species Karanemoura abrupta , K. manca , K. appropinquata , K. brevis , K. curvata , K. distalis , K. divaricata , K. perpropinqua , K. probata form the fossil genus Karanemoura Sinitshenkova, 1987 [1] [3] [4 ] ] .
