Lithium tungstate forms colorless crystals of several modifications:
- trigonal syngony , space group R 3 , cell parameters a = 1.420 nm, c = 0.932 nm, Z = 18;
- monoclinic syngony , space group C 2 / c , cell parameters a = 0.9753 nm, b = 0.5954 nm, c = 0.4994 nm, β = 90.58 °, Z = 4, density 6.00 g / cm³ [1] ;
- tetragonal syngony , space group P 4 2 / mnm , cell parameters a = 0.41898 nm, c = 0.26694 nm, Z = 2 [2] .
Soluble in water.
