Salty or Borisovo [2] ( Ukrainian Solone , Crimean-Tat. Tuzlu, Tuzlu ) - a drying salt lake in the south of the Kerch Peninsula in the Leninsky district ( Maryevsky village council ). Area - 0.7 km² [3] . The type of general mineralization is salty . The origin is continental . The hydrological regime group is closed .

Geography

Included in the Kerch group of lakes ( Koli of the Kerch Peninsula ). Length - 1.7 km. Width max - 0.9 km. The catchment area is 7.5 km² [3] . The coastline is 4.2 km long. The nearest settlements are the villages of Maryevka and Vyaznikovo , located north of the lake.

The salt lake is located far from the Black Sea coast . The lake basin of an irregularly shaped reservoir elongated from west to east. The banks are gentle. The lake dries in the summer. Rivers do not flow; in the north-west of the lake several small rhizomes flow. To the south of the lake is a dirt (field) road.

The lake is overgrown with aquatic vegetation mainly in desalinated areas - in the mouths of flowing beams, in the area of ​​groundwater outlets. Here, various algae intensively develop, up to the flowering of water.

The average annual rainfall is 400-450 mm . Food: mainly surface (water from snowmelt and downpours) and partly underground water from the Black Sea artesian basin .
