Geography
The commune is located approximately 400 km southeast of Paris , 16 km northeast of Lyon , 50 km south of Bourke-en-Bres [1] .
In the west of the commune flows the River , and in the south passes the Miribel Canal.
Climate
The climate is semi-continental [2] with cold winters and warm summers. Rains happen infrequently, mainly in the summer.
