Vsevolod Aleksandrovich Keldysh (born February 15, 1929 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian literary critic , doctor of philological sciences , chief researcher at the A. Gorky Institute of World Literature, Russian Academy of Sciences .

Biography
He graduated from the faculty of Russian language and literature, graduate school of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute named after V.P. Potemkin . In 1954 he defended his thesis “Collection of short stories by A. M. Gorky “ In Russia “”.
Since 1956, he has been working at the A. M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (now RAS ), since 1988, he has been the head of the Department of Russian Literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and now he is the chief research fellow. In 1975 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Russian Realism at the Beginning of the 20th Century."
V. A. Keldysh is one of the editors of the academic “ History of World Literature ” (Volume 8). Prize winner A.S. Pushkin RAS (2013) [1] .
