Location
The village of Semenovskoye is located in the western part of the Kolomna district, about 10 km north-west of the city of Kolomna . Altitude 140 m [2] .
History
Until 2006, Semenovskoye was part of the Nepetsinsky rural district of the Kolomna district [3] .
In the XIX century, Semenovskoye was a village, in it the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was built. By the end of the century, the church had no independent cause and was assigned to the Annunciation Church of the neighboring village of Shemetovo.
The noble estate in the village. Semenovskoye of the Nepetsinskoy volost in 1852 belonged to the landowner Maria Nikolaevna Strekalova, in 1860 - to Anna Stepanovna Kanishcheva, in the 1880s. - Professor of the Moscow Technical School, author of the famous textbooks on mathematics N. A. Shaposhnikov , in 1911 - Baron V.V. Engelhard.
