Biography
The representative of the gentry clan Zaberezinsky coat of arms " Leliva ". The son of the governor of Trok and the marshal of the great Lithuanian Jan Yurievich Zaberezinsky (c. 1440 - 1508 ), and Anna Nikolaevna Nosuty.
He held a number of important posts in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1509 - 1530 - governor of Novogrudok . In 1522, Jan Zaberezinsky was appointed the Great Lithuanian Marshal, and in 1531 he received the position of governor of the Trox .
In 1529, Jan Yanovich Zaberezinsky from his possessions put 197 armed horsemen into the Lithuanian gentry militia.
Family and Children
He was twice married. His first wife was Barbara Kezgailo , daughter of the great Lithuanian hetman and Vilnius coughtan Stanislav Kezgailo (c. 1451 - 1527 ). As a dowry, he received estates in the Oshmyany district . For the second time he married Sophia Radziwill , daughter of the great Lithuanian chancellor and governor of Vilna, Nicholas Radziwill (c. 1470 - 1521 ).
