Biography
Belonged to the bangal ethnic group. Ball an active fighter for independence. Together with Joseph Malula , who later became Archbishop of Kinshasa, he created the group “Conscience africaine”. This association of Catholic students prepared and circulated in July 1956 the Manifesto of African Conscience, which condemned the policy of racial segregation introduced by the Belgian colonialists and proclaimed the rights of the African majority to political and cultural expression.
In 1958, the Congo National Movement was one of the founders of the party, but due to contradictions between the radicals and moderate members, a year later he left his ranks and joined Alber Kalonge .
