Biography
Born in the city of Revel in 1792. In 1800-1815 he studied at the Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg) . During training at the Imperial Academy of Arts, Pavlov was repeatedly awarded with medals and certificates. After training, he moved to Ukraine. In 1820-1839 he taught at the famous Nezhin Gymnasium A. A. Bezborodko (from 1832 - Lyceum) , where he studied with Nikolai Gogol , brothers Eugene and Nikolai Grebinki . He participated in the lotteries of the Society in 1835, 1838 and 1842. In 1839-1846 he taught at Kiev University . Kapiton Stepanovich Pavlov was personally acquainted with the great Ukrainian poet Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko . He died in Kiev on January 1, 1852.
