History
Building on the success achieved by a motorcycle with an engine of 175 cm³, Benelli decided in 1936 to try its hand at building a more powerful (250 cm³) model. She became the Benelli 250 TN (Turismo Normale), the military version of which ( M37 ), was adopted by the army, in particular, to equip the messengers, that is, where the capacity of the 500 cc Benelli 500 VLM would be excessive.
Design
Double tubular steel frame; front suspension parallelogram, rear - candle, sprung. The engine is single-cylinder (cylinder angle 12 °) four-stroke, 246.79 cm³ in volume, cylinder diameter 67 mm, piston stroke 70 mm. 3-speed gearbox, drum brakes.
In the military version, the ignition and gear lever are located to the right of the tank.
