Biography
Representative of the princely clan Golovchinsky ( Rurikovich ). The son of Marshal Gospodar and the elder of Lyakhovitsky , Prince Yaroslav Matveyevich Golovchinsky (c. 1520 - 1567 ) and Dorota Wenceslasna Kostsevich. Brothers - Princes Nikolai ( 1547 - 1571 ) and Yaroslav (? - 1622 ).
Since 1581, it is mentioned in the rank of lubashansky holder. On March 12, 1600, Prince Szczesny Golovchinsky received the position of Mashtensky's chestnut , which he held until his death.
He owned the estates Golovchin , Ezna , Tsvet, Shatsk and others.
Family and Children
He was married to Elzbiet (Further) Khodkevich, daughter of the coughtan of Vilnius Jerome Khodkevich ( 1500 - 1561 ) and Anna Shemet . Children:
- Prince Jan Golovchinsky (? - 1631 ), the great Lithuanian cup - holder ( 1624 - 1631 ), childless
- Princess Regina Golovchinskaya (? - 1640 ), 1st husband - Governor of Minsk Pyotr Tyshkevich ( 1571 - 1631 ), 2nd husband - Governor of Vitebsk Krishtof Kishka (c. 1590 - 1646 ).
