Biography
By descent from peasants. Higher education. By profession, artisan.
He worked at industrial enterprises in Klintsy , and was a member of the Social Democratic group there, founded in 1897 by M. M. Litvinov and others. In 1903, he was one of the organizers in Semenovka of the Social Democratic group called the Iskra Party.
Since 1904, a member of the Bund , then - the RSDLP , the Bolshevik . He was arrested 5 times, in 1910-1917 he was in the Narym exile.
At the end of 1917 he was elected to the All-Russian Constituent Assembly in the Chernigov constituency according to list No. 9 (Bolsheviks) [1] . At this time he lived in Semenovka, Chernihiv province.
