Station Design
Mini-CHP “Oceanarium” is a thermal gas turbine power plant with combined generation of electricity and heat (GTU-CHP). The installed capacity of the power plant is 13.2 MW , thermal capacity is 260 Gcal / h . The main fuel is natural gas , emergency fuel is diesel fuel [1] [2] .
The main generating equipment of the station includes two GRB 70 D gas turbine units with a capacity of 6.6 MW each with ECO-SPI-5.5 waste heat boilers , as well as two peak TT 100 hot water boilers. The gas turbine manufacturer is Kawasaki (Japan), waste heat boilers - Rosink company (Germany), peak hot water boilers - Entroros LLC (Russia) [1] [2] [3] . Electricity is supplied to consumers through a 10 kV switchgear, and thermal energy is supplied through a 3 km long heating main. the equipment also has a standby diesel power station with a capacity of 0.4 MW [4] [5] .
Economic Significance
The main purpose of the station is the supply of electricity and heat to the Primorsky Oceanarium scientific and educational complex. Together with the Severnaya and Tsentralnaya combined heat and power plants , it forms the energy cluster of Russky Island [6] . The station operates in automatic mode and is serviced in shift mode by personnel of four people [7] .
History of construction and operation
The construction of the power plant was launched in 2009 in preparation for the 2012 APEC summit in Vladivostok. Initially, the designer and general contractor of the station was Distributed Energy CJSC. In 2010, on the instructions of the Government of the Russian Federation , the construction site of the station was moved, which required repeated research and design, and also led to the formation of “waste” works on the old site [8] [9] . General contracting and general project organizations were replaced, LLC “Integrated Energy Solutions” became the new general contractor of construction, and NATEK-Energo Project LLC became the general designer. The opening ceremony of the Mini-CHP “Oceanarium” was held in October 2013, the station was officially commissioned in 2014. The project cost amounted to 2094 million rubles (excluding VAT) [3] [1] [5] [10] [11] . The station operates in cogeneration mode from October to March (as a rule, with one gas turbine unit), it has significant reserves for the connection of thermal power [12] . In 2014, the project of the station became a finalist of the All-Russian contest "Small Energy - Big Achievements" in the nomination "The best project in the field of small energy with a capacity of 6 MW or less" [13] .
