Biography

Born in the village of Zasosna [1] . He graduated from the 6th grade of the school.

In 1919-1921 on the fronts of the Civil War , then continued his service in the Red Army . In 1922 and 1924 he graduated from one-year training courses, in 1937 - courses "Shot" . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1929, Colonel (1940).

From June 29 to September 13, 1941 the commander of the 666th Infantry Regiment of the 153rd Infantry Division. In battles near Vitebsk, he restrained enemy attacks for two days. He was wounded twice and twice shell-shocked.

From September 15, 1941 to October 5, 1942, commander of the 330th Rifle Division of the 10th Army (Western Front). December 7, 1941 a sudden attack took the city of Mikhailov.

From November 2, 1942 to August 4, 1943, the 330th SD, Major General (02.14.1943) again commanded. From August 25, 1943 to February 9, 1944 and from March 18 to June 6, 1944, the commander of the 154th Infantry Division of the 3rd Guards Tank Army of the 1st Baltic Front . Then he commanded the 25th SD.

Since 1947 in reserve, lived in Odessa . He died in 1965.
