Geography
It is located around Novotroitsky Lake (Kuchegyr), in the Kruchina River Basin. On the Amur highway , to Chita 60 km. The villages Novotroitskoye also include the villages of Ilyinka and Tanha .

Education and Culture
The date of the emergence of the village of Novotroitsk is 1871. The name "Novotroitsk" arose from the merger of the two words "again" to "be built." In 1908, an elementary school was formed. In 1918, the partisan detachment of Pakulov liberated the village from seed production. In 1926, a reading room for 250 yards was opened. 10/25/1937, the village Council was formed. The first chairman was F.I. Shcherbakov. 1940 - a seven-year school was established. 1960 - an eight-year school was established. A library was built in August 1974. In 1976, the Novotroitsky state farm was organized. 08/05/1975, an eight-year school was reorganized into a secondary school. In the village there are a secondary school, a kindergarten, a club, a library, and a FAP. Here is a monument in honor of fellow countrymen who died in the battles of World War II (04/15/1975), the grave of the full gentleman of the three orders of Glory Vasily Savelyevich Sizikov (reopened in 1988), the mass grave of the fighters for power of the Soviets.
