Description
Architecturally, the station is similar to the Karnide station, with which it was opened on the same day as part of the expansion of the blue line to the west.
The decoration of the station was led by Luis Jasinto. The lobby walls are decorated with ceramic tiles. The tiles show the oblique lines of red, blue, green, and yellow, surrounding the entire interior of the station [2] .
The station is one of the few in the Lisbon Metro that has a freestanding surface lobby.
