Gagarina Street - a street in the Krasnoperekopsky district of the city of Yaroslavl ; The main transport artery of the Neftestroy residential area. It is connected by Moskovsky Prospekt and the 6th pass-through refinery (Southern Industrial Zone).

History
The name was assigned on April 19, 1961 in honor of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin (1934 - 1968), the first person in the world to fly into space on April 12, 1961 [1] . He performed on September 9, 1967 at the Volkov Theater with the presentation of the Order of Lenin to the region.

The beginning of the street (from Moskovsky Prospekt to the Southwest Ring Road ) is built up mainly with residential buildings, after which there is an industrial zone. In the South industrial zone there are oil refineries , Bitumen Plant, OAO Yartechuglerod, TPP-3 and other enterprises.
