Location
The village of Belavino is located in the eastern part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, about 28 km southeast of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo . Altitude 137 m [3] .
History
Before the abolition of serfdom, the villagers belonged to the category of state peasants . After 1861, the village became part of the Petrovsky volost of the Yegoryevsky district. The parish was in the village of Pashnevo [4] .
In 1926, the village was part of the Belavinsky village council of the Krasnovsky volost of the Yegoryevsky district [5] .
In 1994-2006, Belavino was part of the Belavinsky rural district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district [6] .
Population
In 1885, 774 people lived in the village [7] , in 1905 - 889 people (429 men, 460 women) [8] , in 1926 - 710 people (308 men, 402 women) [5] . According to the 2002 census , 120 people (58 men, 62 women) [9] .
