Wanda Wistinghausen-Hulawska ( Polish: Vanda Wistinghausen-Chuławska ; December 1, 1877 , Lviv - May 8, 1946 , Ljubljana ) - Polish-Slovenian opera singer and vocal teacher.
In 1902 she graduated from the Adeline Paschalis vocal school in Dresden, in 1905 she married the composer and conductor Richard von Wistinghausen (in the same year she gave birth to her son Richard Wenceslas). In 1906 - 1907 she sang in the Lviv Opera , then in 1907 - 1908 . performed in Olomouc , in 1909 - 1913 - in Klagenfurt . In the future, she mainly toured, performed in Graz, Lubeck, Kiel, Poznan. Among the main parties are Leonora in Beethoven 's Fidelio , Elsa in Wagner 's Lohengrin , Hades in Verdi's opera of the same name , Martha in Eugene d'Albert 's Valley.
Since 1920, at the invitation of Matei Khubad, she taught at the Ljubljana Conservatory, and raised a number of prominent Slovenian singers. Since 1942 , retired.
