Biography
Stanislav Gagarin was born in the village of Uvarovka, Mozhaisk District, Moscow Region . In childhood, he lived in the Caucasus . He graduated from the Navigation Faculty of the Leningrad Naval College. He worked as a navigator, captain on merchant ships and vessels of the fishing fleet. He studied at the All-Union Correspondence Law Institute, after which he began to work as a teacher at the Institute. Began to publish in 1968. He wrote stories and stories of marine themes, then adventure and fantastic works.
It was published in the annuals "Fantastic" of the publishing house " Young Guard ", in the almanac " Iskatel ", in other periodicals, published in separate books.
He was the author of the idea and director of the film “ Black Berets ” (together with Viktor Dotsenko).
He lived in the Ryazan region and in Yekaterinburg.
He died on November 22, 1993.
