Peasant costume of the end of the 19th century: a cap , booty, boots
Poddevka ( curiosity ) - Russian upper hinged long (to or below the knees) clothes with long sleeves, detachable at the back at the waist, with assemblies on the back, with a standing or turn-down collar.
Both men and women wore. It was made of home-made dark cloth or black, blue factory cloth, on a lining, and for winter - on tow, spun wool, cotton wool.
It was distributed in the Russian north, in the Urals, in the western provinces of European Russia, in the south of Russia in the 19th - early 20th centuries [1] .
