Julia Skopa is a pupil of the sports school of the Moscow City Physical Culture and Sports Association (MGFSO). The first professional club was the Trinta Premier League team , then it was invited to Dynamo Moscow . 1998 was an outstanding year for a 20-year-old basketball player: the championship in Russia (the first for Dynamo), and in the two-match final series against CSKA Moscow she scored the most points (44) and rebounds (27). As part of the qualifying tournament for the European Championship - 1999 , held in Israel , May 13, 1998, Julia made his debut in the Russian team in the match against Yugoslavia . Two weeks later, she becomes a member of the "world forum" in Germany , where she takes part in six games and becomes the silver medalist. The following year, Julia wins the bronze medal of the European Championship in Poland , and two years later in France, she replenishes her collection with a European silver medal . At the 2002 World Cup, Skopa participated in all 9 games of the Russian national team (209 minutes), only Osipova , Korstin and Baranova had more of her playing time. And again silver medals.
The basketball player spent the following European championship brilliantly: 30.8 minutes on the court (the best result in the team), in the quarterfinal against the French national team she scores the most points (16), she scores the same number of points in the semifinals with Spain , and in the winning “gold” match with Czechs Julia scored 11 points (3rd indicator in the team). After a victorious performance in Greece, Osprey was no longer involved in the games for the Russian team .
In the mid- 90s and early 2000s, all the successes of Dynamo Moscow were inextricably linked with Julia: a four- time Russian champion , winner of 2 bronze medals of the Russian championship, and a participant in the 1999/2000 FIBA Euroleague Final. During this period, the Executive Committee of the RBF four times in a row included Skop in the list of 25 best basketball players of Russia ( 1999/2000 [1] , 2000/2001 [2] , 2001/2002 [3] , 2002/2003 [4] ), and for three consecutive years recognized as the best light forward.
2004 was almost missed due to the birth of her daughter, she appeared on the site only in December this year. Having played for Dynamo 5 matches, she spent the ending of the season in Spartak near Moscow . Despite the inferior season, she is again included in the list of 25 best basketball players in Russia [5] . In the 2005/06 season, Tokareva wins the European Cup , participating in 15 games out of 16, and in Russia for the second year in a row takes 4th place, this time losing the “bronze” series to his former club . The next two seasons, Julia spent in the middle teams: Dynamo (Moscow Region) and Dynamo Energy . The basketball player begins the 2008/09 season at Nadezhda , but after spending 2 matches in the Russian Cup , she leaves Orenburg and leaves to play for the Mytishchi-MGUL Super League B team . Then she goes to Spartak Noginsk , where already in the first season she helps her club get a ticket to the elite division. On December 17, 2011 , in the match of the Russian championship against Nadezhda , Tokareva last time went to the basketball court.
