Game career
I came to professional football in 1986, at the age of 21, when I started training in the Dashgyn team from Zakatala’s hometown. The first trainer was an experienced local specialist Shirdanov Shaban Rajab Ogly. Later, together with his younger brother - Gurban Gurbanov, he played in the clubs "Kur-Nur" Mingyachevir, "Turan" Tovuz and "Neftchi" Baku. [one]

In 1992-1993 he was involved in the national team of Azerbaijan , which included 2 games. He made his debut with the Azerbaijani team on September 17, 1992 in the Georgian city of Gurjaani, in a friendly match against Azerbaijan, which was also the first official game of the national team of Azerbaijan after gaining independence. Coaching career
In 2006-2007 he was the sports director of FC Neftchi Baku. [3]
Since 2007, he has been working as a manager-breeder of FC Karabakh Agdam.
