Edward Rudolph “Ed” Bradley (June 22, 1941 - November 9, 2006 [1] ) is an American journalist and TV presenter, best known as the host of the 60 Minutes program on CBS News for 26 years. He is also known as a war correspondent covering the Fall of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War , and as the first black journalist to interview the president of the country in the White House. He subsequently hosted his own program, CBS Sunday Night with Ed Bradley .
