Career
At the 1992 Olympics, he won a bronze medal as part of the United Team . At the tournament, Kovalenko spent 7 matches [1] . At the next Olympics, Kovalenko represented Ukraine : he played 8 matches, scoring 14 goals. The national team of Ukraine took 12th place. In 2000, Andrei took 8th place at the Sydney Home Olympics , he spent 8 games and scored 11 goals.
Member of two European Championships - 1989 and 1991 . As part of the USSR national team in 1989, Kovalenko became 4th, and in 1991 won bronze.
