Second Division of the World Ice Hockey Championship 2015

The IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship 2015 in II Division is the IIHF IIHF ice hockey competition held from April 13-19, 2015 in Reykjavik ( Iceland ) and Cape Town ( South Africa ). According to the results of the tournament in group A: the team that won the first place received the right to play in group B of the first division of the 2016 World Cup . This team was the Romanian team . The team that finished last went to group B. This team was the Australian team . According to the results of the tournament in group B, the team that won the first place moved to group A ( the Chinese team ), and the team that took the last place moved to the third division of the 2016 World Cup . This team was the team of South Africa .

The Bulgarian national team came from the third division , and the Romanian national team dropped out of the first division , the rest from the last tournament of the second division .
