Biography
Born on September 24, 1926 in the village of Sara Alatyr district of the Simbirsk province [1] . He graduated from Alatyr High School. In November 1943, the Alatyr RVK of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was drafted into the Red Army . Since 1944, Sergeant Antonov fought in the 1360th anti-aircraft artillery Czestochowa regiment on the 1st Ukrainian front . Participated in the forcing of the rivers Wisla, Oder, Spree, in the liberation of Prague. He was a gun commander, a battery commander, and then a regiment. Three days before the end of the war, he was seriously injured in one of the last battles.
In 1948 he entered the Sverdlovsk Theater Institute . In 1950 he transferred to the A.N. Ostrovsky Leningrad Theater Institute , which he graduated with honors.
In 1952-1954 he worked in the Russian Theater (Cheboksary), in 1954-1966 - in the Russian Drama Theater (Yakutsk). Then he worked in theaters of Orel, Semipalatinsk, Cheboksary. In 1971 he returned to the stage of the Russian Drama Theater of Yakutsk, in 1983-1987 he was the director of the theater. Since 1992 he was engaged in teaching activities.
Died April 22, 2014 after a serious long illness.
