Biography
German Osensenov was born on January 21, 1923 in Kazan . Before being drafted into the army, he lived in Sverdlovsk , graduated nine classes of school No. 40 there, and was engaged in an aeroclub. In 1939, Odsensenov was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army. In 1941, he graduated from the Perm Military Aviation Pilot School. From April 1942 - on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War [1] .
Since the summer of 1944, Lieutenant German Odotsenov commanded the link of the 951st assault air regiment ( 306th assault air division , 10th assault aviacorpus , 17th air army , 3rd Ukrainian front ). During his service in the regiment, he made more than 130 combat missions to attack the clusters of military equipment and manpower of the enemy, his important objects, causing him great losses. Especially distinguished during the storming of Budapest . March 8, 1945 went missing during a combat mission [1] .
Awards
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated June 29, 1945, Lieutenant German Odsensenov was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for "exemplary performance of combat tasks of the command on the front against the German invaders and showing courage and heroism." He was also awarded two Orders of Lenin , two Orders of the Red Banner , Orders of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree and the Red Star , the Yugoslav Order of the Partisan Star of the 1st degree, a number of medals [1] .
