"Backstrom" ( English Backstrom ) - an American detective television series, based on a series of novels by the Swedish writer Leif G.V. Persson for the Fox channel. Hart Hanson was appointed the creator of the series, and Rain Wilson got the lead role. ^[one]

On May 8, 2015, the channel closed the series after one season ^[2] .

Story

Everett Backstrom ( Rain Wilson ) - a rude, quick-tempered detective suffering from overweight and constant self-destruction, is one of the members of the forensic group, revealing the most complicated cases. His strange and unusual methods of solving crimes are almost criminal, but they always get to the point.

Production

In July 2012, CBS bought back the rights to Backstrom ^[5] . The pilot episode was shot in Vancouver ^[6] . When CBS went through the pilot phase, 20th Century Fox Television bought the rights to the film adaptation and ordered 13 episodes of the series for Fox ^[1] .
