Irina Sergeevna Unzhakova (born February 21, 1964, Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Oblast, Russian SSR) is a political activist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an international expert on gender policy, the head of the Status Federation of Women, a business coach, a member of the National Commission on women’s affairs and family-demographic policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VI convocation.

In 1983 she graduated from the Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction College with a degree in Civil Engineering with honors. In 1988 she graduated from the Road Construction Institute.
