Arachnura higginsi (lat.) Is a species of araneomorphic spiders of the genus Arachnura from the family of orbiting spiders .

The species is common in eastern Australia and Tasmania. It occurs on the outskirts of forests, in clearings, woodlands, and gardens.
The body length of males is 2 mm, and females are 16 mm. Color ranges from cream to brown. The tiny male does not have a tail. Females have a tail similar to the scorpion tail, but do not have poisonous glands on it.
Hunts for flying insects. During breeding, the female forms 6-8 egg bags of brown silk. Lays 50-60 eggs in each bag.
